Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022: Vivo is now the Official Sponsor of the Biggest Sporting Tournament
Vivo is a Chinese smartphone-producing company well recognized around the world. They are now the official sponsor of the biggest, and most cashable sports event. Vivo was previously the official sponsor of the Indian Premier League from 2018 to 2020. Tata became the official sponsor of IPL in 2022. Vivo, was forced to leave IPL after a conflict between India and China occurred in 2020. The deal between Vivo and BCCI was of a massive INR 2200 crore before their parting. They have also left the NBA after the rise of Hong Kong protests.

Vivo has now landed itself as the official sponsor for the Fifa World Cup about to happen in Qatar in November. Fifa is the world’s biggest sports event held every four years, where numerous teams represent their respective country in the iconic tournament. Celebrity sports stars like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, and Kylian Mbappe play.
Vivo officially stated, “ It aspires to connect fans around the world with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Through this partnership, Vivo will leverage its rights to the FIFA World Cup 2022, including the emblem, and official brand identities, and run unique promotions to connect with passionate football fans globally.”
Vivo is now the third Chinese company to sponsor FIFA after Wanda and Hisense. FIFA World Cup will start on 21st November 2022.
