India Cricket and former Indian captain, Virat Kohli achieved a tremendous milestone on Social Media and became the most followed Indian on Instagram. His followers reached a massive number of Two Hundred Million. Kohli was recently into action in the Indian Premier League 2022. He wasn’t at his best performance this season still, his highest IPL score remains unbroken.Â

Virat Kohli is also the third most followed sports personality in the world. The first two are Cristiano Ronaldo with 451 million and Lionel Messi with 334 million. Known for breaking cricket records also broke Instagram with his massive following. He posted a montage video after reaching the landmark with the caption, “200 mil strong. Thanks for all your support insta fam.”
Kohli recently gave up his captaincy from T20 and replaced himself with Rohit Sharma. The BCCI also removed him from ODI and Test as a captain as they wanted a single captain for all formats. He also left the captainship of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022. Kohli will be resting from the India vs South Africa home series and present in the rescheduled test against England.
