Rajasthan Royals played against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second qualifier match of Tata IPL 2022. The game was at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 27th May. It was the second last game of the IPL 2022 and scheduled for 7:30 pm IST. RR defeated RCB and became the second finalist after Gujarat Titans. It was a significant match for both teams, but as always Bangalore didn’t get a win. It will be their fourteenth season without a single trophy. They have disappointed their fans but still were a worthy contender for second qualifiers and played well. Rajasthan will play against Gujarat on 29th May, Sunday.
Both the teams had played against each other twice before yesterday’s match, where the last game was won by Rajasthan Royals. RCB won the eliminators round, whereas RR lost the first qualifier and got a second chance in the next qualifier. RR didn’t let this opportunity slip out of their hand and won the match, entering the finals.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Royal Challengers Bangalore:
1st Innings-
Virat Kohli and captain Faf du Plessis opened, making seven runs and twenty-five runs.
Rajat Patidar entered the field next, and all their eyes were on him. RCB fans had plenty of expectations from Patidar, and he delivered them what they expected. He smashed three sixes and four fours, scoring fifty-eight runs.
Glenn Maxwell played well and made twenty-four in thirteen balls, whereas Mahipal Lomror scored just eight runs.
Dinesh Karthik and Shahbaz Ahmed made six and twelve runs respectively.
Wanindu Hasaranga made zero runs, and Harshal Patel and Josh Hazlewood got one run each.
Royal Challengers Bangalore gave the target of 57 runs.
2nd Innings-
Josh Hazlewood took the first wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal and later of Devdutt Padikkal.
Wanindu Hasaranga got RR captain Sanju Samson out.

Rajasthan Royals:
1st Innings-
Prasidh Krishna took the first wicket of the match and got Virat out. He took further wickets of Dinesh Karthik and Wanindu Hasaranga.
Obed McCoy got Captain Faf du Plessis, Mahipal Lomror, and Harshal Patel.
Ravichandran Ashwin took an important wicket of Rajat Patidar, and Trent Boult got Glenn Maxwell out.
2nd Innings-
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler opened for RR, where Jaiswal made twenty-one runs. Buttler was playing like it was an earlier match of IPL 2022. He played right from the first over till the last over not out. Jos hit six sixes and ten fours, making 106 runs in total.
Captain Sanju Samson made twenty-three runs, whereas Devdutt Padikkal and Shimron Hetmyer scored nine and two runs each.
Rajasthan Royals won the match by seven wickets.
