Rajasthan Royals lost a game to Delhi Capitals yesterday on 11th May. It was an unexpected defeat to Royals as they had a satisfactory all-rounder performance. DC won with a good batting as they have an excellent NRR amongst all the ten teams. Mitchell Marsh was the, highlight of the match as he was the all-rounder player. Ravichandran Ashwin was the best player from RR’s side and was surprisingly ahead in his playing rank compared to other games. It proved worthy as the all-rounder scored his maiden half-century.

Rajasthan Royals are always evident and think ahead of the game. They allot six batsmen, one all-rounder, and five bowlers on the field. If they have a smooth start and warm opening, it will go as planned. If there is an early wicket, they send in their all-rounder player. RR makes sure their finishing batsmen don’t go in too early and become an easy target for wickets.

Similarly, in yesterday’s match Rajasthan shifted their all-rounder, who is Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin entered the ground as number three after the unfortunate knockout of Jos Buttler. It was a wise decision to send him early as he scored a half-century for RR.
“Starting from the season, it was communicated properly to me that I’d be used up the order. We had a few practice games as well where I opened, and I’ve kind of enjoyed it. I have worked a lot on my batting, so it’s nice to see whatever it is been worked on translates on the field. Pretty good feel about the knock today nevertheless it didn’t come in a winning cause.” Ashwin said. It was the third time he was additionally ranked in the game.
