India is set to take on South Africa in the five T20 International games between both countries. The games will begin on the 9th of June, Thursday, and both teams have arrived in New Delhi. South African teams arrived earlier, and the Indian team came in late after taking a few days off to rest. The matches will be played all across the nation in different cities, starting from the capital Delhi.

KL Rahul is the captain of the newly selected team, full of emerging and young players. Indian opener and wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant gave a few tips and guides on crucial steps to become a better wicket-keeper. Pant is a tremendous fan and appreciator of MS Dhoni and aims to walk in his shoes. He played with the former Indian captain and trained under him in his initial stages and received some tips and tricks from the legend.

“One quality would be you keep yourself agile because in keeping you do it in different types of conditions. So, if you’re agile enough, I think that’s going to help in keeping. Second thing, watch the ball till the end. So sometimes what happens as a wicket-keeper, we tend to know that the ball is coming and we just get relaxed.” Pant said on Wicket keeping.

He added,“ So till the time you catch the ball, you should be watching it. And the third one is, to be disciplined and keep working on your techniques. I think as a kid, yes, everyone has different techniques, but at the same time if you can come closer to the base, that is going to help everyone for a long period of time.” Pant mentioned all these tips and aspects on SG Podcast.

Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul will be the only players to fly directly to England for the India vs England Test match from the T20I game.
