Rishabh Pant Named as the Brand Ambassador of Uttarakhand

Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is officially named the Brand Ambassador of Uttarakhand. Pant is the captain of the Delhi Capitals franchise in the Indian Premier League. He has also led the Indian National team in the T20I series against South Africa in June. Pant became the second youngest player to captain the Indian T20I.

Rishabh Pant is from Haridwar city of Uttarakhand. He trained in cricket at Delhi and represented Delhi in his domestic career and also in IPL. His roots are in Uttarakhand, and Pant has always been connected. The wicket-keeper batsman was appointed as the Brand Ambassador of Uttarakhand by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Dhami tweeted, “The state government has decided to appoint the son of Devbhoomi and the talented player @RishabhPant17 of the Indian cricket team as “State Brand Ambassador” with the aim of encouraging the youth of Uttarakhand towards sports and public health. Best wishes to you!”

The 24-year-old Pant was happy with this post and thanked Chief Minister Dhami on Twitter. He replied, “Thank you @pushkardhami Ji for giving me this opportunity, it is no doubt a great feeling and also a huge responsibility. My message to all the young folks is that you can achieve anything you want as long as you believe in yourself and set your mind to it and work hard.”

Pant is preparing for the Zimbabwe series and the upcoming Asia Cup 2022.
