Neeraj Chopra came first in the Lausanne Diamond League Meet in Switzerland. Chopra was absent after the World Athletics Championship 2022 in Oregon, the United States of America. He was injured during his final throw. Chopra still finished second in the Championships and won a silver medal.
There were no other competitors close to Indian javelin icon Neeraj Chopra. Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic came second with 85.88 meters. Curtis Thompson from the USA finished third. The Athletics Federation of India shared a video of his throw, which got him the first rank.
Chopra announced his arrival at the Lausanne Diamond League Meet in Switzerland. Neeraj Chopra attended the Diamond League and came in hard. His single throw was enough to carry him to the leading thrower in the Meet. Chopra registered a throw of 89.08 meters which helped him climb to the top.
With a better first throw, his second throw was still ahead of his competitors. Chopra missed his third throw, and his fourth throw was unfortunately registered as a foul. In the final and fifth throw, he achieved a distance of 80.04 meters. His first throw was enough to raise him to the top without any setbacks.
