Malaysia Open 2022 will begin today on 28th June, Tuesday, and will continue till 3rd July on a Sunday. Plenty of badminton players have participated to represent their country in this international badminton event. Indian badminton star and two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu will represent India in the women’s section, whereas Thomas Cup champion HS Prannoy will be representing in the men’s section.
Both the shuttlers will be playing in the open after a disastrous Indonesia Open. PV Sindhu was disqualified in the first round itself. Saina Nehwal was ready for the Indonesia Open but will be here. Prannoy did manage to get a couple of levels close to victory before facing a loss. He reached the semi-finals before getting knocked out of the tournament.

These three only hope to bring a medal from the Malaysia Open Super 750 tournament. Nehwal will make a comeback after missing the Indonesia Open. Along with Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will also represent India. HS Prannoy, Saina Nehwal, and PV Sindhu are India’s only hope to win a medal.

Malaysia Open 2022: PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy to be India’s Best Shot for Winning Medals
Saina Nehwal will play her first game against the USA’s Iris Wang, and Sindhu will play against Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong. Prannoy might be pitted against Malaysian Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. If the trio manages to defeat their counterparts, India’s hand will reach nearer to the title.
