Lalit Modi is Dating Sushmita Sen: The Businessman Reveals on Social Media

Lalit Modi is a businessman known for his work in cricket. He was the Chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India or BCCI. Modi is also the founder of the Indian Premier League back in 2008. He was the Commissioner of the IPL for the first three years, from 2008 to 2010. Amongst his many positions, he was also the Chairman of the Champions League from 2008-2010.

Recently the businessman shared a couple of pictures with him and Sushmita Sen, an Indian actress and former Miss Universe, at the beaches of Maldives. The tweet had a caption of  “Just for clarity. Not married- just dating each other. That too it will happen one day.” Lalit Modi revealed he and Sushmita Sen are dating but not yet married.

Sushmita Sen broke up with her previous boyfriend in December 2021. She announced her part on Instagram with a caption, “We began as friends, we remain friends!!” Lalit Modi was previously married to Minal Modi. His wife passed away four years ago after battling cancer.

He had a very controversial year in 2013 when the BCCI banned him. Lalit Modi was accused and found guilty of indiscipline, misconduct, and financial irregularities. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched an investigation, but he shifted to England. Modi fled the country then and currently is a fugitive from the Indian Government.
