Kargil Vijay Diwas: Indian Cricket Fraternity Pays Respect to War Heroes: Today’s 26th July marks the anniversary of India’s victory after recapturing Indian territory by the Pakistani Army on 26th July 1999. The war was known as Kargil War and the victory day was called Kargil Vijay Diwas.

The Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated for the victory and the Indian soldiers who laid their lives for their nation. Several members of the Indian Cricket Fraternity paid their tributes and respect to the Indian Soldiers.

“This day marks 23 years of India’s victory in the Kargil War, we will forever be grateful for all the gallant efforts of the real and brave heroes who sacrificed themselves to protect our great nation. Jai Hind #KargilVijayDiwas.” Former batsman Suresh Raina tweeted.
