The Indian team is all set to assemble in Delhi for the upcoming India vs South Africa T20.  We will be hosting, and the matches will be played at home for the Indian team. KL Rahul will be the captain as prominent players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Virat Kohli are on rest after the IPL 2022 recently came to an end. The squad is heading for practice before the five-match session begins on 9th June.

Indian Team will Assemble in Delhi on 5th June for India vs South Africa T20

The South African team will be present in India by tomorrow, 2nd June, and will prepare here for the limited T20 game. Rajan Manchanda, Delhi & District Cricket Association or DDCA joint secretary, told PTI, “The Indian team will assemble here on June 5 while the South Africans land in Delhi on June 2.”

There will be no seating restrictions or biobubble for the audience wanting to view the game live. Every player will be regularly tested for Covid. Besides Delhi, match venues will be Cuttack on 12th June, Visakhapatnam on 14th June, and Rajkot on 17th June.

The Indian squad will see a new face, who recently shone in the IPL, Umran Malik. Malik was the fastest bowler this season, bowling at a speed of 150 plus.
