Indian Cricket Team to Tour in West Indies for 3 ODIs 5 T20I in July August

The Board of Control of Cricket in India BCCI and Cricket West Indies (CWI) recently announced the India and West Indies Tour, in the West Indies. There will be eight games, three One Day matches, and five T20 games. It will happen after India finishes with South Africa in June and England test in July.

India will finish the England white-ball tour on 17th July, and then the selected team will fly off to West Indies for a new tour. The Indian team will be divided into several parts for different expeditions and the coming Asia Cup 2022 in August. Presently the squad list isn’t announced for the West Indies tour. The ODI games will be in Trinidad and Tobago, at iconic Queen’s Park Oval on the 22nd, 24th, and 27th of July.

The first match of T20 Internationals will be played in Port of Spain at Brian Lara Stadium on 29th July. The last two games will be at St. Kitts Warner Park on 1st and 2nd August. The final two rounds won’t be in the West Indies but in the United States of America to please the NRI in the US, at Broward County Stadium in Florida.

The newly appointed West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran said, “We have a young team that is eager to restore the brand of cricket the West Indies team is known for playing. As I take charge of this team, our ambition is to always be competitive, as we look to use this series to fine-tune our preparation for the upcoming T20 and 50 over World Cups.”
