Indian player and Chennai Super Kings skipper Deepak Chahar recently married his love Jaya Bhardwaj on 2nd June. It was a most awaited wedding for Indian cricket fans after Deepak proposed to her then-girlfriend in front of the world in IPL 2021. The whole stadium went in Aww! as he made her his fiance.

The couple married in Agra in a closed and private function, with only family and friends present. Deepak shared a picture of him and her now-wife Jay Bhardwaj, putting garlands on each other. He penned a beautiful caption, “ When I met you the first time I felt that you are the one and I was right we have enjoyed every moment of our life together and I promise you to keep you always happy like this. One of the best moments of my life. Everyone pls give your blessing to us.”

Rahul Chahar, also a cricketer and cousin of Deepak posted a picture with his, wife and the newly married couple, with a caption, “ Happy married life you too… Soooo happy for you and all the good wishes…wishing you an amazing married life. Loads of Love.”

Deepak Chahar proposed to Jaya Bhardwaj in IPL 2021 during Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings game. The video went viral of him asking his girlfriend in the stands while she was sitting and watching the game.

Chahar was bought by CSK for INR 14 crore in IPL 2022 due to his excellent performance in the prior season. He is a right-arm medium-fast pace bowler who took fourteen wickets in fifteen games for Chennai and  fifty-nine wickets to his name in sixty-three matches.
