India vs South Africa 5th T20I: Match Abandoned Due to Rain, Both Countries Ended the Series in 2-2 Tie

India and South Africa played their finals of the five-game T20I home series at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The match was interrupted due to rain and both the countries had to abandon the game. It was a tie-breaker game between the countries as both the teams have won two games against each other. Yesterday’s match would’ve determined the winner of the series. 

Unfortunately, due to rain the teams decided to end their five-game T20I series at a tie of 2-2. India and South Africa did play a couple of overs before the rain hit the ground. India scored twenty-eights runs and played three overs in total.

South Africa won the toss and chose to bowl in the first innings. Both the teams had to wait for the rain to stop, and after twenty minutes, the game began.

India:

Rishabh Pant: Captain

India sent Ishan Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad to open the game. Kishan scored fifteen runs, and Gaikwad made ten runs for the team.

Shreyas Iyer played single ball and got out at zero runs.

Indian captain Rishabh Pant scored a single in one ball.

Keshav Maharaj bowled the first over and lost sixteen runs.

Lungi Ngidi took the wicket of Ishan Kishan in the second over and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the fourth over.

Kagiso Rabada bowled the third over and gave five runs.
