India played their second T20I against England on 9th July at Birmingham’s Edgbaston Cricket Stadium. It was the second consecutive win for the Indian team after they won the first by a margin of 50 runs. Several players like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and Rishabh Pant returned from their rest break to play the second T20I.
In the second T20I, India mainly won due to their bowling. The batsmen didn’t give a heavy target, but the bowlers kept the English away. Virat Kohli again failed to score any significant runs for the team. Ravindra Jadeja and Bhuvneshwar Kumar became top performers in the game. India won the second T20I by 49 runs.

England won the toss and chose to bowl first. Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant opened for India, where each scored 31 and 26 runs. Ravindra Jadeja scored 46 runs in just 29 balls. The other batsmen scored higher than 15 runs making a total score of 170 runs in 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal became the best Indian defense as both took three wickets. Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets, whereas Hardik Pandya and Harshal Patel took a wicket each.

Moeen Ali scored the most for England at 35 runs, and David Willey scored 33 runs. Dawid Malan got 19 runs, whereas Liam Livingston made 15 runs for his team. Richard Gleeson took three wickets back to back. Chris Jordan got four wickets for his team, and Harry Brook got one. England failed to chase down the 170 runs target after 121. India won the game by 49 runs, similar to their previous 50 runs win.
