India and England played their second day of the fifth and final test match on 2nd July. The previous test matches were played last year in which India won two, England won one game, and one ended in a draw. If India wins this test, they will be the winner of it will end in a draw. India will continue with its batting from the previous day. Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami will open for the day.
Ravindra Jadeja is opening, and unlike yesterday’s performance, he is going slow. Jadeja scored 104 runs in total before ending his reign. Shami also got 16 runs before exiting the game. New captain Jasprit Bumrah got everyone surprised by his performance. He recalled the six-ball six sixes by Yuvraj Singh as he made 28 runs in six balls, hitting four boundaries and two sixes.

Bumrah played till the end, making 31 runs, not out. Mohammed Siraj scored 2 runs ending the innings for India with a total run of 416 in 84.5 overs.
Rain interrupts England’s innings, and the covers are pulled. Alex Lees and Zak Crawley opened for England, making 6 and 9 runs. Joe Root scored 31 runs, whereas Jonny Bairstow scored 37 runs. Jasprit Bumrah bagged three wickets, whereas Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj took a wicket each.
