India vs England, 3rd ODI Highlights Rishabh Pant Century, India Series Win 2-1

India played their final game of the ODI series against England on 17th July at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. It was the last game of the India Tour of England. The tour started with a test match. The test series was a draw, followed by a victory in the T20I series and then a three-game ODI.

India won the first match of the ODI by 10 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah took six wickets. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan chased down the target runs and won the game. The second ODI was contrasting for India as Reece Topley took six wickets and England won by 100 runs. The third game was a tie-breaker game, where India prevailed.

Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant

India won the toss and chose to bowl in the final game. Jason Roy scored 41 runs, and captain Jos Buttler made 60 runs. Moeen Ali and Craig Overton made 34 and 32 runs. England gave a target of 259 runs to India. Reece Topley took three wickets, whereas Craig Overton and Brydon Carse took a wicket each.

Rishabh Pant

India batted in the second innings. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli scored 17 runs each. Rishabh Pant smashed unbeaten 125 runs with sixteen boundaries and two sixes. It was his first century in the ODI. Hardik Pandya scored 71 runs with ten boundaries. Pandya showed an all-rounder performance, he took three wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal took four wickets, Mohammed Siraj got two. 

India defeated England in the ODI series by 2-1 and won the tour by 2-0. India won the T20I and ODI series.
