The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced India’s squad for the Asia Cup 2022. Rohit Sharma will be the captain, and KL Rahul is returning as the deputy.

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah will be absent from the squad. He suffered a back injury and won’t be present for the continental tournament. Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik will be the two wicket-keeper batsman on the team.
