IND vs ZIM 1st ODI Highlights: India Won By 10 Wickets, Leading by 1-0

India and Zimbabwe played their first ODI of the three-game series. The game was on 18th August at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. It was the India tour of Zimbabwe. The series will end on 22nd August before the beginning of the Asia Cup on 27th August.

India played exceptionally well and won their first game against Zimbabwe. Bowlers played a very crucial role in gaining victory for India. Deepak Chahar and Prasidh Krishna were the leading wicket-takers of the game. The batting performance also was exceptional whereas Zimbabwe failed to take any wickets from the Indian team.

India won the toss and chose to bowl first. Zimbabwe captain Regis Chakabva scored the most runs for his team. Chakabva made 35 runs, whereas Brad Evans and Richard Ngarava scored 33 and 34 runs. Zimbabwe gave India a target of 189 runs.

Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill opened for India. They were the only two players who chased down the target given by Zimbabwe. Dhawan scored 81 runs, with nine boundaries. Gill made 82 runs with ten boundaries and a six. 

Deepak Chahar, Prasidh Krishna, and Axar Patel took three wickets each.

India defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets and took a lead of 1-0. The second ODI will be on 20th August.
