IND vs WI: Ultimate Goal is To Do Well in The World Cup- Dinesh Karthik: India and West Indies played the first match of the T20I series. The Indian team displayed an exceptional performance. The game was at Brian Lara Stadium, where India made the highest T20I score ever. India made 190 runs and defeated West Indies by 68 runs.

Rohit Sharma reprised his role as the captain of the Indian team. Sharma scored 64 runs with his opening partner Suryakumar Yadav, who made 24 runs. Dinesh Karthik made an appearance, showing his fantastic performance. Karthik scored 41 runs for India, making it the second highest score in the match.

Karthik was interviewed by his teammate Ravichandran Ashwin. The video was uploaded by her BCCI on Twitter. “I think it’s a very different team. I must admit that I am really enjoying myself in this setup. The kind of calmness that seems to be around, a lot of credit should go to the coach and captain. These are all small tick boxes that we need to have at this stage of the game. But obviously, the ultimate goal is to do well in the World Cup.”

Dinesh Karthik had an incredible year, giving a terrific performance at the IPL 2022. He was included in the playing 11 at the India vs South Africa series in June. It was Karthik’s comeback to the Indian team after three long years.
