IND vs SA 4th T20I Match Highlights: India played the fourth game of the five-match T20I against South Africa, yesterday 17th June. The match was played at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, Gujarat. The Indian team now equals their score with South Africa, and only one game remains. The final round will determine which nation will prevail in the five-game T20I series. India won the fourth game by eighty-two runs against South Africa. Dinesh Karthik and Avesh Khan were the highlight players of the game.

IND vs SA Match Highlights, 4th T20I

South Africa won the toss and opted to bowl first as usual.

1st Innings

India:

Rishabh Pant

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan opened the match. Gaikwad failed to perform like in the previous game and only scored five runs, whereas Kishan made twenty-six runs.

Shreyas Iyer also failed to secure significant runs for the Indian team and got four runs.

Captain Rishabh Pant scored seventeen runs in twenty-three balls.

Hardik Pandya added numbers on the Indian scoreboard, making forty-six runs. He smashed three sixes and three boundaries.

Dinesh Karthik became the star player of the match after scoring an incredible fifty-five runs in just twenty-seven balls. Karthik shot nine boundaries and two sixes.

Axar Patel and Harshal Patel ended the first innings for the Indian side, scoring eight and one run.

India gave South Africa a target of 169 runs.

Lungi Ngidi took two wickets for South Africa, the first of Ruturaj Gaikwad in the 2nd and Hardik Pandya in the 19th over. 

Marco Jansen got Shreyas Iyer LBW in the 3rd over.

Anrich Nortje got Ishan Kishan caught out from Quinton de Kock in the 7th over.

Keshav Maharaj bowled, and Dwaine Pretorius caught Rishabh Pant.

Dwaine Pretorius took the wicket of Dinesh Karthik.

2nd Inning:

South Africa:

Temba Bavuma

Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma opened for South Africa, scoring fourteen and eight runs. Temba Bavuma suffered from an injury and had to leave the field.

Dwaine Pretorius played six balls, making zero runs in the game.

Rassie van der Dussen scored twenty runs, which were the highest for South Africa.

Heinrich Klassen scored just eight runs.

David Miller scored nine runs, hitting one six.

Marcus Jansen scored twelve runs, hitting one six and one four.

Keshav Maharaj failed to make a single run, whereas Anrich Nortje only made a single run.

Lungi Ngidi and Tabraiz Shamsi scored four runs each, ending the second innings for South Africa.

Harshal Patel got Quinton de Kock run out, taking the first wicket for India in the 5th over.

Avesh Khan took four wickets for the Indian team, first of Dwaine Pretorius in the 6th over, Rassie van der Dussen in 14th over, Marcus Jansen in 14th over, and Keshav Maharaj also in the 14th over.

Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets, one of Heinrich Klassen in 9th over and Anrich Nortje in 15th over.

Axar Patel got Lungi Ngidi out with the help of Ruturaj Gaikwad in the 17th over.
