IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2022 Highlights: Pakistan Won by 5 Wickets

India and Pakistan face each other for the second time in the Asia Cup 2022. It was the clash between the two greats of the subcontinent. It was the Super 4 match of the Asia Cup. Both the teams played on 4th September at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Last Sunday, India played against Pakistan and won the match by five runs. But Pakistan also took it further and defeated India in the Super 4 match. Virat Kohli is back in his smashing action and is the leading run scorer for India. Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan is the highest scorer in the game.

Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul opened the game for India. Both the players scored 28 runs each. Virat Kohli smashed and made 60 runs, with four boundaries and one six. Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant made 13 and 14 runs. Deepak Hooda scored 16 runs. India gave a target of 182 runs.
Hardik Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Arshdeep Singh took a wicket each.

Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam opened for Pakistan. Rizwan smashed 71 runs with six boundaries and two sixes. Babar made 14 runs, and Fakhar Zaman scored 15 runs. Mohammad Nawaz bagged 42 runs, with six boundaries and two sixes. Khushdil Shah and Asif Ali made 14 and 16 runs.
Shadab Khan took two wickets, whereas Haris Rauf, Asif Ali, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Hasnain, and Naseem Shah bagged one wicket each.

Pakistan defeated India by five wickets. It is by the same margin as India won in their first encounter at the Asia Cup.
