French Open 2022: Rohan Bopanna-Matwe Middelkoop paves their path to Quarter-Finals

The French Open 2022 is presently ongoing, and Indian players are representing in the Men’s and Women’s Doubles. Rohan Bopanna has qualified for the quarter-finals in the Men’s Doubles with his partner Matwe Middelkoop. Bopanna was once titled the World No.3 in Men’s Doubles back in 2013, and in 2010 he was the runner-up in doubles in US Open. He is presently forty-two years old, and is still representing India in plenty of international tournaments.

French Open 2022: Rohan Bopanna-Matwe Middelkoop paves their path to Quarter-Finals 

Rohan Bopanna and Matwe Middelkoop from Netherlands won the pre-quarterfinals game and won against Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic from Croatia. It was a tough match for both the players, and they had to fight hard to assert their victory. The Croatian duo was the former World No.1 in Doubles. The Indo-Dutch pair faced disappointment in their first set and lost by 6-7. It was a good game by the Croatians, but Bopanna and Middelkoop made a comeback and won the second set, by 7-6. It was now a fifty-fifty chance of winning for both the pairs, where the Indian and Dutch defeated the former World No.1 with 7-6.

French Open 2022: Rohan Bopanna paves their path to Quarter-Finals 

Rohan Bopanna and Matwe Middelkoop qualify for the Quarter-Finals in French Open 2022. The Indo-Dutch duo will face Loyd Glasspool and Harri Heliovaara from the United Kingdom and Finland. Bopanna also won the first round of Mixed Doubles with Andreja Klepac from Slovenia.
