French Open 2022: Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Carlos Alcaraz all present in the same half

French Open 2022 will see an extraordinary clash as the top players in the world are drafted on the same side to play. Novak Djokovic, who is presently the No.1 player, thirteen-times winner Rafael Nadal and the Young World Champion Carlos Alcaraz are present on the same side. The French Open began on 16th May, Monday, and will continue till 5th June, Sunday. Currently, twelve games are played, and today on 20th May, will be the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth match.

Djokovic, Nadal, and Alcaraz will supposedly meet as early as the quarter-finals if they can beat their upcoming competitors. It will be an epic showdown as Carlos has previously defeated the world champions. Novak Djokovic will play his first match on 22nd May against Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka. Nadal will also play his first round on the 22nd against Jordan Thompson of Australia. Alcaraz could face any one of them in the coming matches. It would be a tough match as all three of them are in their best form.

Djokovic said, “ I am very motivated to play my best tennis. In Paris, I always play very strong. Previous year it was the toughest major that I had won.” He defeated Nadal last year for a title and would repeat the same. Rafael Nadal is hoping to continue his streak of 105 wins out of 108 wins in French Open since his debut in 2005. He has won twenty-one Grand Slam singles in his career.
