BCCI president Sourav Ganguly gave his questions regarding Jasprit Bumrah’s presence in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Jasprit Bumrah again went through an injury the night before India’s game against South Africa. South Africa is touring India for a three-game T20I series and three-game ODI series. Both teams played their first T20 game on 28th September.

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly answered regarding his latest injury before the South Africa series. He is ruled out of the remaining games in the series and is replaced by, Mohammed Siraj. “Bumrah is not out of the World Cup yet. We’ve got fingers crossed. Don’t rule him out yet,” Ganguly on Revsportz twitter.

Bumrah made his comeback from an injury after a month in the Australia series. He was in recovery for a month after the West Indies tour. Bumrah remained absent from the Asia Cup 2022, where his bowling was deeply missed. India’s bowling department is suffering plenty, and the absence of their best bowler isn’t helping.

He was asked about his future regarding the upcoming World Cup. Ganguly replied, “I don’t know. We will find out in the next two-three days.” He made sure that Bumrah’s presence in the squad for Australia is yet to be confirmed and will be provided, in the next couple of days.
