Commonwealth Games 2022: India Updated Medal List from Day 8, India Ranks Fifth in the Most Medals Rank

The Commonwealth Games 2022 has officially gone past day eight and day nine is ongoing. India is performing well at the games, with several players reaching into quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals. Each day is better with Indian contingents winning medals in various sporting events.

Sanket Mahadev Sargar opened India’s medal tally with his silver medal in weightlifting. India has claimed over 26 medals till day eight in the CWG 2022. Mirabai Chanu won India’s first gold medal at the CWG 2022. Weightlifting is the crucial gold medal-winning sport for India, as Jeremy Lalrinnunga and Achinta Sheuli also won gold in it.

India’s total medal holds nine gold, eight silver, and nine bronze, with a total tally of 26 medals.
