Commonwealth Games 2022: Day 1 India’s Full Schedule: The Commonwealth Games 2022 have officially begun on 28th July. The Grand Opening Ceremony happened yesterday. Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu led the team India as the flag bearer with Indian Men’s Hockey captain Manpreet Singh. The Opening Ceremony was held at Alexander Stadium.

Neeraj Chopra, India’s Javelin champion, will be absent for the CWGdue to his injury. Women Cricket will make a debut in the Games at Edgbaston Stadium against Australia. The Women’s Hockey team will also open their performance against Ghana. The games will begin on 29th July.
