Asia Cup Hockey 2022: India Crushes Indonesia by 16-0 in their Third Round

The Indian Men’s Hockey team played their third match against Indonesia on 26th May. It was their first win after tying against Pakistan in the first game and losing to Japan in the second. Presently Asia Cup Hockey 2022 is going on in Indonesia from 23rd May. India is in the pool A with rivals Pakistan, Japan, Malaysia, and South Korea. It was a tough start for India in Asia Cup Hockey, but they seem to be over it and have played quite well against Indonesia.

Asia Cup Hockey 2022: India Crushes Indonesia by 16-0 in their Third Round

The Indian Men’s Hockey team defeated the Indonesian team with a crushing score of 16-0. India was in the third position, but with this win, they will surely rise in the points. Dipsan Tirkey single-handedly scored four goals, whereas Karti Selvam got two goals for his team. Pawan Rajbhar earned three goals, and Abharan Sudev scored two goals taking the score to 11-0.

Maninder Singh, and Uttam Singh struck their goals, making it 16-0 for Indonesia. It was a hardcore reply from the new Indian players who, were criticized for their poor performance in the previous match. Due to the enormous score and win, India secured their place in the super 4,  with Japan, Malaysia, and South Korea.
