Asia Cup 2022: Pakistan Announces the Squad, Hasan Ali Out of Asia Cup: Asia Cup 2022 is right around the corner and it will begin on the 27th of August. A great match will ensue in the Continental Tournament between two Asian cricket tycoons, India and Pakistan. The game between both the countries will be a match to witness. Pakistan has announced a squad for the Asia Cup 2022.
Pacer Hasan Ali was dropped from the squad for the Asia Cup. Pakistan has also named its players for the Men’s World Cup Super League game against the Netherlands. Pakistan has named two teams, one for the Asia Cup and the second against the Netherlands from 16 to 21 August.
Hassan Ali will be missing from both the squads and he is replaced by Naseem Shah and Salman Ali Agha. Shaheen Shah Afridi will be part of both squads. Pakistan’s Chief Selector, Muhammad Wasim said, “Hasan has indeed been given a break from international cricket, and Naseem Shah has taken his place. He is extremely quick and can add to the fast bowling department, which already includes Haris Rauf, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Shahnawaz Dahani.”
