R. Balki revealed his next directorial project on Wednesday, a thriller starring Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, and Dulquer Salmaan.
Shreya Dhanwanthary will also appear in the flick.
The 56-year-old writer-director, whose credits include Cheeni Kum, Paa, Padman, Ki & Ka, is looking forward to filming his first thriller.
He expressed his delight at the prospect of working with such a great cast.
Making a film in a genre I’ve never tried before is even more thrilling.
Balki said in a statement, “I’ve had the concept for a long time but never got around to writing it, and while it’s basically a thriller, it relies so much on these four great performances.”
Balki and Salmaan are slated to work on a “psychological thriller,” according to legendary cinematographer P.C. Sreeram, who is also a part of the project.
The picture, which has yet to be named, is set to hit theatres early next year.
