Rajasthan Royals is a franchise team based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The team is among the initial teams established during the emergence of the Indian Premier League in 2008. The home ground for RR is Sawai Mansingh Stadium In Jaipur. In 2015, the team was banned from participating in the IPL for two years along with CSK for a betting scandal. They re-entered the league back in 2018. Rajasthan Royals have won the first-ever IPL cup in 2008.
The current captain for RR in IPL 2022 is Sanju Samson and the coach is Kumar Sangakkara.

Karun Nair
Karun Nair is a right-handed batsman born on 6th December 1991. He again joined RR this year. Nair has played for RCB 2012-2013, RR 2014-2015, DD 2016-2017, KXIP 2018-2020.
Shimron Hetmyer
Shimron Hetmyer is a West Indies player, born on 26th December 1996. He is a left-handed batsman, who joined RR in 2022. Shimron previously played for RCB 2019, DC 2020-2021.
Rassie Van Der Dussen
Rassie Van Der Dussen is a South African player, born on 7th February 1989. Rassie is a right-handed batsman, who joined RR in 2022.

Jimmy Neesham
Jimmy Neesham is a Kiwis, batting from the right hand and fast bowling also from the right arm. Neesham was born on 17th September 1980 and is playing for RR this year. Jimmy previously played for DD 2014, KXIP 2020, and MI 2021.
Daryl Mitchel
Daryl Mitchel belongs to New Zealand and was born on 20th May 1991. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast bowler playing for RR from 2022.
Ravichandran Ashwin
