SunRisers Hyderabad beat Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets at the Dubai International Stadium on Monday, ending a five-match losing streak. Hyderabad pulled down the 165-run goal with nine balls to spare, thanks to half-centuries from Jason Roy and Kane Williamson, who replaced David Warner in the SRH XI. With the win, SRH maintained their limited chances of making the playoffs. Sanju Samson took over the Orange Cap from Shikhar Dhawan during the SRH versus Rajasthan Royals match. He scored 82 runs off 57 deliveries. In the competition, Samson has 433 runs from 10 matches, while Dhawan has 430 runs.

SRH remain at the bottom of the standings despite their win over Rajasthan Royals, but they are now in with a chance of making the playoffs. They have four points from ten games, including two victories.

Rajasthan missed out on a chance to finish fourth in the IPL 2021 points standings. After ten games, they are in sixth place with eight points.

Rajasthan, Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings, and Mumbai Indians are all tied for fourth place with eight points. On the basis of a higher net run rate, KKR is in the lead.

CSK and Delhi Capitals are equal for first place with 16 points from ten games, while Royal Challengers Bangalore are third with six victories from ten.

Sanju Samson’s brilliant innings enabled him pass Shikhar Dhawan as the tournament’s highest run-scorer. KL Rahul is third on the list with 401 runs, followed by Faf du Plessis with 394 runs.

With 362 and 332 runs, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Mayank Agarwal are next on the list.

After the SRH vs RR match on Monday, the race for the Purple Cap remained unchanged. Harshal Patel leads the team with 23 wickets, including a hat-trick against Mumbai Indians. With 15 wickets, Avesh Khan is the next greatest wicket-taker, followed by Jasprit Bumrah, who has 14 wickets in IPL 2021 so far.
