In the last two games of the IPL 2021, Royal Challengers Bangalore have turned the tables and are on a winning streak. The Virat Kohli-led side did not get off to a good start in the UAE, but their strong performance in the IPL 2021 has aided them greatly. They currently retain a stronghold in the top four places.

RCB is currently in third place with 14 points from 11 games, and their net run rate has improved marginally to -0.200. To leapfrog Delhi Capitals for the top two spots, they’ll need a lot more wins. A win against Rajasthan with 2.5 overs to go will undoubtedly assist their cause, and here’s how RCB may qualify for the IPL playoffs in 2021.

RCB still has three games left to play, and they only need one more win from their remaining three games to qualify for the IPL 2021 playoffs. Their sole concern is that if they lose all three of their remaining games, their net run rate would suffer, and they may be forced to withdraw from the IPL 2021 playoffs due to low net run rate.

Their initial goal will be to make the playoffs with 16 points, then they’ll consider the net run rate for the first two spots. In the game against RR, the RCB team was incredibly clinical, and two more performances like that might be enough to push them closer to the Delhi Daredevils. The Royal Challengers Bangalore will play Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi in their next three games.

This will be Virat Kohli’s final season as captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, and he will want to end the season on a strong note. Glenn Maxwell’s addition to the team has been hugely beneficial, and he put in yet another outstanding performance against RR yesterday. The Royal Challengers Bangalore will play the Punjab Kings on Sunday afternoon.
