World Athletics Championship 2022: Full List of Indian Athletes Qualified, Timing, Venue, and Schedule: India will soon embark on the United States of America for the upcoming World Athletics Championship 2022. The Championship will be held from 15th July to 24th July in Eugene, Oregon, USA. India’s results in this tournament have had a hard time with over, only one noticeable medal. Former Long Jumper Anju Bobby George won the bronze medal at the Paris edition in 2003. Since then, India has always returned empty-handed.
Neeraj Chopra will be attending the Championship, and his presence giving the Indian fans hope. He is the Tokyo Olympics Javelin champion, winning a gold medal for India. Chopra recently broke the national record of the longest Javelin throw, the previous record, was also set by him. Neeraj won’t be the only Indian representative, Avinash Sable, who also set a new national record in the steeple race this year.
