Women in blue won all three ODI matches and triumphed the series in their home base at Lords.

Taniya Bhatia was part of the part Indian squad playing in the series. Her belongings were stolen from her hotel room. “Shocked and disappointed at Marriot Hotel London Maida Vale management; someone walked into my personal room and stole my bag with cash, cards, watches, and jewelry during my recent stay as a part of the Indian Women’s Cricket team. @MarriotBonvoy. So unsafe,” Taniya Bhatia tweeted.

She asked the hotel management for an investigation. Her money, jewelry, and many other items were missing from her room. She showed her disappointment for the England Cricket Board. “Hoping for a quick investigation and resolution of this matter. Such lack of security at @ECB_cricket’s preferred hotel partner is astounding. Hope they will take cognisance as well,” Bhatia further wrote in her tweet.

Taniya Bhatia was selected for her performance in the T20I series and wasn’t part of the ODI playing 11. She is India’s designated wicketkeeper-batswoman and represented India in 19 ODIs and 53 T20Is.
