Punjab Cricket Association released the sales of the Australia tour of India. India and Australia will play a three-game T20I series held in India. India will host Australia and South Africa to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. The Australia series will begin on 20th September on Tuesday.
The first match of the series will be at PCA International Stadium in Mohali. The tickets started selling online on 11th September after the announcement of the series. Due to the demise of Queen Elizabeth II, sales were postponed to 12th September. The 27,000-capacity stadium was sold out despite a glitch in the website.

“We have sold around 40% of the capacity of the IS Bindra PCA International Stadium through online sales already. This was the first lot of tickets allocated to the online platform on Monday. The PCA will offer the remaining 10% of the total ticket sale on Tuesday, ten percent on Wednesday, and 10% on Thursday.” Dilsher Khanna, Secretary of PCA stated to The Indian Express.
The PCA switched the ticket sales online only except students, who will receive a discount on their ID. “The rest 30% of tickets are the student tickets, which will be sold through counters at the stadium, and complimentary passes. We will ask the online platforms about the lag/delay in the ticketing process today and hopefully, it will be resolved,” Khanna added
India vs Australia will play their matches at IS Bindra International Stadium and Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. Australia has won its last three T20I against India.
