Suryakumar Yadav from Mumbai Indians will cease to play in this season of Tata IPL 2022. Yadav suffered from an injury during his last match with Gujarat Titans on 6th May. He has played a total of eight games for Mumbai Indians this season.

Suryakumar Yadav is a right-handed batsman and, is playing for Mumbai Indians since 2018. He is one of the best players playing for MI. He also suffered from a hairline fracture back in February in T20 International in the West Indies. Yadav went to rehab at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He was absent for his first couple of matches for Mumbai due to this. Now again, he will be missing the rest of the IPL 2022.

Mumbai Indian officials stated, “Suryakumar Yadav has sustained a muscle strain on the left forearm and has been ruled out of the season. He has been advised to rest in consultation with the BCCI medical team”
Yadav has made 303 runs for Mumbai Indians, with an average run of 43.29. His absence will affect MI in their upcoming matches as he was one of the best on their team.
