Lionel Messi Missed out Ballon d’Or for the First Time Since 2005

Football icon Lionel Messi will not be nominated for the Ballon d’Or trophy for the first time in his career in nearly 17 years. The Argentinian player has been with the Paris Saint Germain team for over a year. He left FC Barcelona over the club’s financial suffering. His performance has suffered since last year.
