Kieron Pollard Became the First Ever Player to Play 600 Games in T20 Cricket

Former West Indies captain Kieron Pollard recently created a massive record in the history of cricket. He became the first ever cricket player to play 600 T20 format games. The Mumbai Indians all-rounder made history on the 8th of August, Monday. He played his 600th game in the ongoing Hundred Tournament at the Lord’s.

Pollard was playing from the side of London Spirits against Manchester Originals, where he wrote down the history. He also made the match memorable, smashing unbeaten 34 runs in just 11 balls. Pollard shot four massive sixes and a single boundary creating an incredible milestone for fellow cricketers.

Kieron Pollard has scored 11,723 runs combining his 600 T20 games. His average T20I performance is 31.34 runs. The West Indian’s personal best performance is 104 runs. He has one century and fifty-six half-centuries in the T20 format. Pollard has also bagged 309 wickets with the best bowling figures at 4/15.

Pollard has been a part of plenty of T20 format series and tournaments. He was part of West Indies domestic team Trinidad and Tobago, Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League, Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash League, Dhaka Gladiators, and Dhaka Dynamites in Bangladesh Premier League, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Premier League, Trinbago Knight Riders in Caribbean Premier League.

Kieron Pollard is at the top of the heap with 600 T20 matches. Another West Indies player ranks second, Dwayne Bravo, with 543 games. Pakistani player Shoaib Malik is in the third position at 472 T20s, and Chris Gayle in fourth with 463. No player is close to Pollard in comparison to this milestone.
