The Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports (FIFS) is a self-regulatory body to look over Fantasy Sports Market in India. It was established in 2017 to regulate the operation of the Fantasy Sports Platform in India. Joy Bhattacharjya joined in as the new General Director of the FIFS. He is the CEO of the Prime Volleyball League.
Joy Bhattacharjya was the first Indian Head of Production for ESPN Star Sports. He was the Team Director of Kolkata Knight Riders. Mr.Bhattacharjya has held the position of Head of Programming for History and National Geographic channels for South Asia. He was a Project Director for the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in 2017.
Joy Bhattacharjya will look over the function of FIFS and work with industry leaders and policymakers. The FIFS protects consumer rights and standardizes sound practices in the Fantasy Sports Market.

Bimal Julka, Chairman of FIFS said, “We are happy to have Bhattacharjya join FIFS as the director-general. FIFS will benefit from his sports expertise and knowledge of fantasy sports.” Bhattacharjya added, “I am happy to be a part of the next stage of development of fantasy sports in the country. It’s a homecoming for me in a way, from launching the Super Selector in 2022 to now leading FIFS.”

Imran Shaikh, founder of Albatross Media, congratulated and welcomed Joy Bhattacharjya on his new journey with FIFS.
