Ravindra Jadeja, was Chennai Super Kings‘ former captain in IPL 2022 before MS Dhoni took over, was unfollowed by CSK official Instagram handle.
There are reports of a rift between Jadeja and CSK officials, especially after handing over the captaincy recently.
Ravindra Jadeja is an Indian all-rounder player, a left-handed batsman, and a left-arm orthodox spinner. He has been playing for Chennai for almost a decade, and now suddenly there is a supposed conflict between him and the team. Jadeja played ten matches for CSK in IPL 2022, making 116 runs for his team, and taking four wickets. He stepped down from his captainship position due to his inconsistent form and offered the captaincy to veteran MS Dhoni.
It is confirmed that Ravindra Jadeja will not continue to play the rest of IPL 2022 due to a rib injury that occurred in a match against RCB on 4th May. CSK officially stated, “Ravindra Jadeja reported a bruised rib and was unavailable for Chennai Super Kings game against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. He was under observation, and based on medical advice he has been ruled out for the rest of the IPL season” Many of the fans questioned this coincidence online and were disappointed by the actions of CSK.
Whispers started flying about Jadeja’s parting from Chennai Super Kings after a ten-year-long journey.
