India played their final T20 match against Sri Lanka yesterday, 27th June at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. It was the third match of the T20I game, and both the countries will play ODI after this. The Indian team won both of their previous matches with flying colors and registered their victory in the T20I games.
India and Sri Lanka will play three ODI next. In yesterday’s game, the Indian women’s team was defeated by Sri Lanka by seven wickets. India didn’t play a serious game as they already confirmed their win in the previous two games.
India Women vs Sri Lanka Women: Match Highlights, 3rd T20I
India won the toss and opted to bat in the first inning.
1st Inning
India:
Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma opened the game for India. Mandhana scored twenty-two runs, and Verma only made five runs.
Sabbhineni Meghana scored twenty-two runs, with three boundaries.
Captain Harmanpreet Kaur smashed thirty-nine runs with three boundaries and a single six. Kaur played till the end of the innings.
Jemimah Rodrigues improved her performance and scored thirty-three runs.
Pooja Vastrakar earned thirteen runs in six balls.
India gave Sri Lanka a targe of 138 runs.

Sri Lanka:
Sugandika Kumari took the wicket of Shafali Verma with a catch by Chamari Athapaththu in the 1st over.
Oshadi Ranasinghe got Smriti Mandhana caught out by Nilakshi de Silva in the 8th over.
Inoka Ranaweera bowled, and Chamari Athapaththu caught Sabbhineni Meghana out in the 9th over.
Ama Kanchana took the wicket of Jemimah Rodrigues in the 19th over.
Harshitha Madavi ran out Pooja Vastrakar in the 20th over.

2nd Innings
Sri Lanka:
Vishmi Gunaratne and captain Chamari Athapaththu opened the second innings. Gunaratne only made five runs, whereas Chamari smashed eighty runs in just forty-eight balls. She shot fourteen boundaries and one six, not out.
Harshita Madavi scored thirteen runs with two fours.
Nilakshi de Silva scored thirty runs with four boundaries.
Kavishka Dilhari made seven runs in seven balls and was not out.

Renuka Singh bowled, and Harmanpreet caught out Vishmi Gunaratne in the 1st over.
Radha Yadav took the wicket of Harshitha Madavi with a catch by Smriti Mandhana in the 5th over. Simran Bahadur ran out Kavishka Bahadur in the 15th over of the game.
