India played their first ODI match with England on 12th July at the Oval Stadium in London. It was an interesting match as India displayed excellent performance in the game. It was played after India defeated England in the T20I series by 2-1. The Indian team also won the first ODI match with impeccable bowling.

Jasprit Bumrah became the star player after he took six wickets for the team. The on-par bowling of the Indian team gave limited chances for England to score. They gave a target of 110 runs, and India only needed two players to chase that. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan entered the ground to display their unbreakable partnership.
