India is playing their final match of the five-game Test series against England, which is also on its last day. India took the lead after winning the two games earlier. Both the countries are continuing the game which was interrupted due to covid in 2021. This test match will be followed by three T20Is and three ODIs.Â

India showed an excellent performance in their first innings and made 400-plus runs. England failed to achieve as many runs as India did in their beginning innings. Jasprit Bumrah became the captain of India after Rohit Sharma was ruled out due to Covid. It will be more than thirty years since a fast bowler will lead the Indian team.

Bumrah created history on several occasions in the final test match against England. He became the captain, also scored 35 runs in a single over and broke the world record of Brian Lara. Recently the fast pace bowler created another history after passing the wickets of the 1983 winning captain Kapil Dev.Â

Bumrah has 23 wickets in the current ongoing test series against England. He surpassed the number of wickets taken by Kapil Dev, which was 22 in the 1981-1982 test series. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is on the third rank of this list with 19. Bumrah also completed his 100 wickets in the SENA i.e. South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia, and now has 101 wickets.Â
