India vs England: India played their first game of ODI with England on 12th July in London. The Indian team won the match by a massive margin, thanks to the incredible bowling. Many believe Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan’s pair won the game, but it was Jasprit Bumrah. India did spectacular bowling, which got fewer targets.

Bumrah took six wickets, whereas Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan scored unbeaten 114 runs. India won the first game by ten wickets. Virat Kohli was absent from the game after he suffered from a groin strain. When Bumrah was asked about Kohli and his health, he stated, “ I do not know about the extent of the injury as I did not play the last game. Hopefully, he will be fine by the next game. I really don’t know the status of his injury.”

Jasprit Bumrah was praised as the best all-format bowler in the world by England’s former captain Nassir Hussain. Bumrah said “See, it was a good day, and then you get applauded. But I am the type of person who does not get carried away by applause and criticism. Today was a good day, but I do not think about where I am at in each format, I always focus on trying to do what I can do. Very grateful for the applause you get, but I always try to keep a stable head.”

Bumrah was also asked about the partnership between him and Mohammed Shami as the bowling duo, he replied, “Communication is always there when I and Shami bowl in tandem. We started talking today, and we realized that the ball was swinging today, he is an experienced bowler. When a pair compliments one another, it is a very good thing. He is a very skillful bowler and has been playing for India a very long time. I enjoy bowling with him. We keep on having conversations in the middle, he is a very skillful bowler.”
