India vs England: India will play their England Tour after winning the Ireland series. The Indian team will play the test match, which was canceled and postponed last year due to the infiltration of Covid during the game. The final test match will be followed by a couple of T20Is and ODI’s. There are still some covid scares on the Indian side after two players are in quarantine.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma and bowler Ravichandran Ashwin are covid positive and in isolation. The captain Rohit Sharma might not be a part of the game as he was tested positive recently and does not have enough time to recover. He was part of the warmup match in Leicestershire and led in the first game before being in quarantine.

According to BCCI source Dainik Jagran, they have finalized Jasprit Bumrah as the captain for the test until Rohit recovers fully. Indian head coach Rahul Dravid stated to TOI, “Rohit is being monitored by our medical team. He has not yet been ruled out. He needs to get the negative tests to be available. So we’ll keep monitoring that, as we still have 36 hours. We will have a test later tonight and maybe one tomorrow and then see. It’s really up to the medical team to decide,” He was asked if Bumrah will lead or not he said, “It is better that the confirmation on who is captain, comes from official sources. I don’t want to take that liberty.”
