IND vs WI 1st T20I Highlights: India Wins By 68 Runs, Leads 1-0 in Series: India and West Indies played their first T20I game of the five-game string. Both the teams played at Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Tarouba. It was the format of the India tour of the West Indies, where India won the ODI series. 

India played their best game against the West Indies, defeating them by 68 runs. The men in blue broke the record for the highest run at the stadium. They broke the odds by batting first despite having a great chance of losing. Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Karthik, and Suryakumar Yadav were the top-scoring batsmen.

West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first. Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav opened the game. Sharma played incredibly and scored 64 runs with seven boundaries and six 6s. Yadav made 24 runs with three boundaries and a single six. Dinesh Karthik was back in form and made an unbeaten 41 runs. India gave a target of 190 runs.

Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, and Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets each. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja took a wicket each.

West Indies opener Kyle Mayers scored 15 runs, and Shamarh Brooks made 20 runs. Captain Nicholas Pooran scored 18 runs, whereas Rovman Powell and Shimron Hetmyer made 14 runs each. Keemo Paul scored unbeaten 19 runs for his team. West Indies scored 122 runs in 20 overs.

Alzarri Joseph took two wickets, whereas Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Obed McCoy, and Keemo Paul took a wicket each.

West Indies failed to chase the 190 target runs. India won the game by 68 runs, leading the sequence by 1-0.
