IND vs AUS Highlights: Australia Won by 4 Wickets, Leads by 1-0, 1st T20I

India and Australia played the first game of T20I at PCA IS Bindra Stadium on 20th September, Tuesday. There will be three games of T20I played in various states of India. Australia is touring India for both teams to prepare for the upcoming T20I World Cup next month.

India’s T20 team is lacking a bit with not an on-par bowling lineup. Team India suffered a knockout in the Asia Cup with continuous losses. Australia won their previous series with Asia Cup winner Sri Lanka and was pretty well off. Virat Kohli had plenty of eyes on him leading to disappointment. Australia prevailed in the first T20I game.

Australia won the toss and chose to bowl first. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma opened for India. Rahul made a half-century with 55 runs, whereas Sharma ended his batting with just 11 runs. Suryakumar Yadav scored 46 runs with two boundaries and four sixes. Hardik Pandya was, yet again the leading batsman for the match with 72 runs in 30 balls. Pandya shot seven boundaries and five sixes. India gave Australia a target of 209 runs.

Axar Patel bagged two wickets, whereas Umesh Yadav took two, and Yuzvendra Chahal got one wicket. 

Aaron Finch and Cameron Green opened for Australia. Finch made 22 runs, and Green scored 61 runs with eight boundaries and four sixes. Steve Smith made 35 runs, and Matthew Wade made 45 runs. 

Nathan Ellis bagged three wickets, Josh Hazlewood took two, and Cameron Green got one wicket.

Australia chased down the target of 209 runs and won by four wickets.
