Casper Ruud won the French Open 2022 Men’s Singles Semi-Finals and heads to Finals. Ruud will be playing against Rafael Nadal, his idol. He has always appreciated Nadal and is his biggest fan. Casper will enter the finals after he beat Marin Cilic. It will be a smashing final as both the players have excelled in their performance.

Rudd is from Norway and will be the first-ever Norwegian to play at the finals. He played against Croatia’s Marin Cilic and won. In the first set Ruud lost the game against Cilic by a 3-6. It was a devastating loss but had plenty of rounds to prove himself. The second set ended, in the favor of Casper, who won by 6-4. A protester ran onto the court and tied herself, before being cut loose by security.

The third set began soon, and Ruud again won 6-2. It was an incredible victory. The next round also ended in the same result, and he won 6-2. Casper Ruud won the semifinals by defeating Marin Cilic. He will face Rafael Nadal, who is thirteen-time French Open champion, on Sunday, 5th June.
