CWG 2022: Opening Ceremony Live, Time, And Where To Watch: The Commonwealth Games 2022 will be inaugurated on 28th July in Birmingham. It is presently the biggest sporting event happening in the world. Birmingham is the host of this edition of CWG. Over 5000 athletes from 70+ countries will participate in the Games. The Opening Ceremony will be at Alexander Stadium.
The CWG will have over 136 women’s medal events and 134 men’s events. It will be a special edition of the Games as the Commonwealth will introduce Women’s Cricket for the first time in its history. Prince Charles will be present during the inauguration event. Over 30,000 people will be present to cheer for the countries participating in the Games.
India has 215 contingent athletes and 107 officials and support staff. Indian Badminton star PV Sindhu will be the Indian flag bearer with Indian Men’s Hockey Team Captain Manpreet Singh.

The Opening Ceremony will be on 28th July at Alexander Stadium.
The Ceremony will begin at 11:30 pm IST and 7:00 pm Local time.

The Opening Ceremony will be broadcasted on Sony TEN 1, Sony TEN 2, Sony TEN 3, Sony SIX, and Sony Ten 4 in India. DD Sports will also display the Opening Ceremony live in India.
The Ceremony is also available for Digital Streaming on the Sony LIV app and website.
